Switch Consultants are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to work within a electric heating and renewable energy solutions company, as well as holding significant global market positions in domestic appliances, cooling and ventilation. They are engaged in developing industry leading solutions in all the sectors in which they operate.
Our Service team are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to carry out maintenance to various HVAC assets such as heat pumps, fan coils, ventilation systems and controls.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Servicing different types of AC and Ventilation systems
  • Carry out refurbishment of different types of AC and Ventilation systems
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
  • Carry out set to works on FCU using our company provided software
  • Carry out diagnosing controls issues – (full controls training will be provided)
  • Follow manufactures recommend Maintenance guidelines
  • Using electronic equipment to follow engineer planner and fill out site reports
  • Carry out risk assessments and implement safe working practices
  • Ensure all company provided tools are kept in good condition
  • Cleanliness and efficiency
  • Develop strong customer relationships
  • Uphold company values

ESSENTIAL
Proven history of working in the HVAC industry
Full Driving Licence
18th Edition wiring regulations
Proven electrical competency
Good understanding of electrics and controls wiring
Good Diagnostic skills both mechanically and electrically
F – Gas 2079 Category 1
IT literate and good record keeping skills
Satisfactory DBS
CSCS Card

DESIRABLE
NVQ 2/3 in electrical and HVAC background
G3 Certified
Electrical Qualifications
Good mechanical building services skills / knowledge
Heat Pump Experience – though product training given
Pasma / IPAF
Flexibility to Work out of normal hours if required.
Previous experience of Delta Control systems
